Further Information
This painting by Herve Di Rosa was created for an exhibit at Wolf Schulz Gallery in San Francisco, CA. The exhibit was for Hervé Di Rosa and his brother, Buddy Di Rosa.
The show was titled The Di Rosa Brothers and took place in the late 1980’s. As Wolf Schulz Gallery was the primary gallery representing both Di Rosa’s in the United States at this time, the artists flew out to San Francisco for the opening reception.
During this time, Robert Mc Donald (co-founder of Bond Latin Gallery) was the director of Wolf Schulz Gallery and befriended the Di Rosa brothers (as well as other artists from the Figuration Libre movement).
Most of the paintings by Hervé Di Rosa that are available at Bond Latin Gallery come from this period.
